Perivolos - Where You 'Beach' In Style!
Perivolos is a very popular Santorini seaside resort, yet it is a bit more quiet and certainly less crowded than Kamari or Perissa.
It also draws a more varied crowd and, unlike its neighbors, is not an all-night party central.
A better description of the village is a modern resort with the #1 cosmopolitan 'see-and-be-seen' beach of the island!
Highlights
In Perivolos the main attraction is the beach!
Likely the most cosmopolitan and best organized of the Santorini beaches, Perivolos beach is dressed with black shingles and lined with hotels and restaurants.
There are fewer opportunities here for non-beach activities, like shopping and nightclubbing, than in some of the island's other beach resorts.

However, there are many cool beach bars worth checking out, most of which have a trendy, fashionable style.
Note that here the beach bars are actually closed at night, so the fun reaches its climax in the afternoons and early evenings.
Another attraction of this village is the many great restaurants, some of which are considered among the best of the island.
We always hear great things about the seafood here.
Access
Perivolos is located almost at the southern tip of Santorini, some 14 km (9 mi) from Fira. It is serviced by local buses and taxis from Perissa.
You can also choose to take the very beautiful walk from Perissa, if you have the energy for it.
The best way to get there by car is if you drive via Emporio, located just 2.5 km (1.5 mi) inland.
Accommodation
Perivolos has many hotels for every wallet and taste.
